a0018711_182131.jpgHello, everybody. How’s it going? I’m good. Actually, it was rainy again and again. What’s happening here?

It was the birthday of Ally today. She is a daughter of Lynley who’s my boss. After finished working, I joined the big brunch party. She became 11 today. Although I talked to some people, I didn’t actually talk to Ally at all. I had to say “Happy birthday” at least. Actually, I’ve been here already nearly 3 weeks but it’s just a little that I’ve talked to her. I have to get on well with her but I don’t know what to talk to her. That’s a little problem for me now.

In the afternoon, I went kayaking with two customers though it was raining. They are English couple, Liz and Leo. When we started kayaking, it was on-and-off showers. However, it came. It became raining cats and dogs. By the way, I like this phrase “raining cats and dogs”. I asked to Liz about it. She said,
“It is old words. Old English people sometimes use it”
Anyway, it was really raining cats and dogs, and also the wave was high. I saw a man, who was navigating a boat, waved to us with his smile. I replied by waving. Maybe we looked very crazy kayakers. Although the weather was quite bad, I really enjoyed it. When we were going back, the wave helped us to go back, and so it was easier and I could talk to Leo while doing kayaking.

Although I didn’t know if they really enjoyed it, at least, I enjoyed. Afterwards, I had a shower and cooked for dinner though it was a bit early. After dinner, I continued to read the book, “Norwegian Wood” in the common room. Then, there were 6 people there but it was quite silent. Actually, everybody was reading books or magazines while listening to music. There was a very comfortable place for me. I was reading the book using a dictionary. Then, Liz said,
“Oh, you are teaching English by yourself.”
That’s interesting saying, I thought. “Today, after dinner, I taught English”

Then, see you tomorrow. I’m very worried about the weather because Tomoko and Sumie are coming here tomorrow. Ah, I’ve been writing about weather everyday. By the way, yesterday, 20 people visited this site. Thank you very much especially, Ivy and Sindia! I heartily appreciate your visits! I’ll write interesting journals to amuse you as I can.

a0018711_184510.jpgHello, everybody. How’s it going? I was pretty good this morning but in the afternoon, became normal feeling. It’s because of the weather.

This morning, I woke up later than usual. It was 9 o’clock. When I opened the door, I was bathed in dazzling sunshine! I hadn’t seen him for nearly a week, maybe. Welcome back, beautiful Mr. Sunshine! I felt very fine and started working keeping the feeling.

My work was easy today because nobody left here yesterday and so I finished my work by noon. Afterwards, I was going to biking but I didn’t. Actually, it had been raining before I knew it. Why is it rainy everyday? I cooked lunch. Then, Richard, who renovates rooms, talked to me,
“What are we going to do? Would you like to go fishing?”
“Yes, I want to go! But it’s raining.”
“If the weather will be fine,”
However, it wasn’t clear.

I read a book in the common room. It was “Norwegian Wood” written by Haruki Murakami. Although I’d read it in Japanese, I’ve tried reading in English now. I’ve got this book from Masa when I visited his flat about 3 weeks ago. I wrote about it on 1st June on this journal. I really like this novel. Although I’ve read it just a little yet, I’ve really enjoyed it more than Japanese one. There were many words I hadn’t known so I had to read it slowly. Then, I could find many funny parts which I hadn’t noticed when I’d read it in Japanese. Anyway, I’ll keep reading it little by little.

Have you enjoyed this week? It was not bad for me. Then, see you tomorrow. By the way, 19 people visited this site yesterday. Thank you very much.

Hello, everybody. Have you enjoyed today? Here in Hopewell, it has kept going bad weather! I miss sunshine very much! It’s raining cats and dogs. It’s stormy, to be exact. What’s happening here? I heartily hope it’ll have been clear by the time Tomoko and Sumie visit here.

By the way, 37 people visited this site yesterday. It was the most people in the history of my site. I knew the cause. It’s because of the man, Mr. Hisakazu Hirabayashi. He has introduced my page to many people on his web-log. Well, I wrote about him on the diary yesterday. If you are interested in his page, it is here.

http://hisakazu.exblog.jp/

Ah, I’ve been a little bit lazy. I mean I haven’t inserted photos for 3 days. Well, I’ve done it just now. Please enjoy my photos, especially to people who don’t really like reading English.

Thanks to Kazz18 (the web name of Mr. Hirabayashi) I got to know some interesting people yesterday and also today on the internet. Thank you so much. Although I’ve already told you it, 37 people visited this page yesterday. Thank you very much. However, I’d like to know who visited here and also how they are doing. Then, see you tomorrow.

a0018711_184427.jpgHello, everybody. How are you doing? I’m not bad.

Today, my work was a little bit busy but it was finished at 1:30 pm. Then, my boss had me have lunch together. After that, I used internet.

A man, who used to introduce some famous companies’ bosses for me when I was a politic student, invited me to his community of internet world yesterday. He works in the game industry. Actually, I was going to work in the game industry when I was a politic student. Anyway, I joined his community today, and so I used internet for a little bit long.

By the way, the name of man is Hisakazu Hirabayashi. He is a game analyst. I got to know him when I was 19. Then, he visited my politic college to give us a lecture. I became to get on well with him little by little. Then, I was recognized as a promising game planner. One day, he introduced one company’s boss to me. It was October 2002. I had an interview. Then, I talked to him for a long about game. Afterwards, he said to me,

“You are young. You have to see many kinds of world. If you come into this industry now, you might be a boring planner because you’ll be too busy to think interesting things. Go travelling. It is very nice. I used to borrow money for travelling when I was a university student. See you again after long travelling, maybe in a couple of years”
His name is Tetsuya Mizuguchi. He is a game producer. Thanks to him, I am in New Zealand now and have got a lot of good friends.

Actually, I’ve translated his diary since this March. If you are interested in it, please jump there.

http://www.mizuguchi.biz/

By the way, my name is 002 there.

It is actually a very hard work for me but very good for my English study. That’s why I’ll keep going it as I can. I wish my speaking English skills were as well as my writing skills. I think some people, who read my journals, think that I can speak English well. Unfortunately, it’s false. Anyhow, I’ll do my best here in New Zealand.

By the way, it was cloudy with some rain, again. Well, how is your life? Yesterday, 18 people visited this site. Thank you very much. I wish you would tell me about your life. Then, see you tomorrow.

a0018711_184553.jpgHello, everyone. What’s new? It was nothing special for me today.

The raining cats and dogs kept going until this morning. Last night, it was stormy though I could sleep well. In the afternoon, the rain stopped so I went running with King (dog). I hadn’t been walking or running for 2 days so I really refreshed. Also King looked very happy. He ran more than usually fleet.

By the way, a new worker would come here yesterday but she didn’t and hasn’t reached still now. My bosses and I don’t know why. When she came here, my work would change. However, for that reason, I am cleaner still now.

Recently, my life has been nothing special. I think the cause is bad weather. I miss a sunny day very much!

Then, see you tomorrow. I wish it’ll be fine tomorrow. By the way, 10 people visited this page yesterday. Thank you very much.

a0018711_184723.jpgHello, everyone. How are you? I don't feel so good because of carsick. This afternoon, I went to Blenheim for shopping with Lynley. However, the road was quite winding so I felt carsick. I got home just now so I don't feel so good still now.

But I've got good news just now. Actually, Tomoko and Sumie are coming to our BBH next week. I was very glad to hear it. I'm looking forward to seeing them.

By the way, it was raining cats and dogs today. What was worse, Blenheim was an nothing special town. But anyhow, I've done big shopping. I don't wanna go there by car anymore.

Now, I have many things I have to do and I don't feel so good. That's why I'll finish writting this journal now. Then, see you tomorrow. By the way, 9 people visited this site yesterday. Thank you.

a0018711_175955.jpgHello, everybody. What’s the weather like in your city? It was rainy all day here in Hopewell. If the weather was good, I would go biking but unfortunately it wasn’t.

By the way, this morning, I cleaned rooms very tidy. Then, Lynley gave me a muffin after finished working. It was very tasty. It was not sweet. I think it is English muffin. I’d like to make it sometime.

In the afternoon, I studied English in my room. Actually, I haven’t studied English except for this journal. Recently, I’ve really faced that I haven’t had enough vocabulary yet. That was why I studied vocabulary today. Then, I knew a good phrase. That is,
“It’s now or never”
It’s a nice phrase, isn’t it? I pasted the phrase on the wall in my room.

In the evening, I had tomato souse spaghetti. Then, the Israeli man was watching a video. He’d been watching a video when I had lunch, too. I asked him,
“How many videos have you watched today?”
“Four”, he answered after a moment.
Then, I heard another woman laughed.

It was nothing special today because of rain, I think. Tomorrow afternoon, I’m going to the town with Lynley to get food. It was the first time for me to go to the town after I came here. Maybe it’ll happen something special tomorrow, I hope. Then, see you tomorrow.

By the way, 12 people visited this site yesterday. Thank you very much.

a0018711_18438.jpgHello, everyone. How’s it going? I’m very tired now. Actually, I went kayaking for 3 hours today.

This morning, I wasn’t a hard worker. I cleaned quite simply. That was why I finished my work at 11:30 but my boss noticed it. This afternoon, Lynley said,
“You’ve left some your work but I’ll show you it tomorrow. Have a nice day”
I’m sorry. I guess I should work quite hard tomorrow. For that purpose, I have to go to bed early because I’m quite tired now though I was a lazy worker today.

Well, the cause is kayaking. This afternoon, I went Kayaking with 2 men. They’ve stayed here in Hopewell. One of them is Israeli. In fact, it was the first time for me to talk to Israeli in my life. He just arrived here today and it was the first time for him to go kayaking. But it’s no problem. It is not so difficult. It just makes us tired. Another man has been here nearly a week but I haven’t remembered his name yet though he said to me every morning,
“Good morning Kazu!!”, in a loud voice.
I don’t know even where he is from. I’m so sorry. Here this journal, I’ll call him “Mr. Ducks and Drakes”.

Anyway, we enjoyed kayaking. Mr. DD proposed to go to see a sunken vessel and we followed him. He is good at kayaking at least quite better than me so I was late anytime. The waves ran high so it was quite hard work and I got wet to the skin. The ship was near the beach. It looked great by shining of the sunset. Then, Mr. DD was going around the nice coast but the Israeli man had been already tired and was going back home. Although I’d been also tired, I decided to go with Mr. DD because I’m curious.

The coast was very nice. We went along there slowly to enjoy beautiful nature. Afterwards, we arrived at the white beach and got off there. I looked toward Hopewell. Our house was like rice. I mean it was quite far from there. We took a break there and played ducks and drakes. Mr. DD was actually very good at ducks and drakes. Do you know the game? You throw a stone toward the sea or river and make the stone step on the water. That’s all. He said,
“It’s just whether you can find a good stone or not”

Although I don’t know exactly, we were there for about 20 to 30 minutes, I think. After that, we went back home but the wave ran a bit high. I was absolutely exhausted. As soon as I got home, I took the hot spa in the garden for the first time. It’ was very nice. I saw the beautiful scenery while taking it.

Well, I’m tired still now and I should work hard tomorrow. I’m going to bed now. Then, see you tomorrow.

a0018711_18263.jpgThis morning, I got up at 7:30 and went to running. It was back a normal day. Although it was cloudy, it cleared by the time I finished working.

I washed my clothes and I went walking. However, it was running to be exact. Actually, I followed King to run. We ran for about 30 minutes. When I arrived at my room, Richard, who assists Mike to renovate some rooms, was going kayaking and asked me if I join him. I thought for a while and finally I didn’t go. It was already 2:30pm but actually I hadn’t had lunch. Then, he went alone and I had late lunch.

Afterwards, I began to write journals for 4 days. And I’m writing it now.

Then, see you tomorrow with certain. I’m so sorry for making some of you worried and thank you. I’ll keep this journal as I can for my English skills, also keeping touch with my friends, and for fear that some of them will be worried about me.

a0018711_182410.jpgThis morning, I got new bread from Mike. Actually, they bake bread and I can get it free anytime. Noriko and I had it for breakfast. It was very tasty. She had the piece of toast without jam and butter.

After that, I began to work and she was walking in the garden until the departure time of water taxi. She left at 11:30am. Then, Lynley gave me a break time and I saw her off. I waved to her in the boat. By the way, she was going to Nelson to see Tomoko. Tomoko told me she felt bored in Nelson. Actually, I’ve never been to Nelson so I don’t know what the town is like? I wish they’ll have a good time together then. Anyway, thank you very much for coming to Hopewell, Noriko. I’ve had really good time thanks to you.

This afternoon, I went running up to mountain road. Then, I couldn’t find King so I went alone. It was sunny though it was cloudy with some rain in the morning. I went running for about 40 minutes. Afterwards, I had late lunch and had a shower. Although I was going to write a journal, a customer used a computer. Actually, there is only a computer can be used internet at our place. Then, I felt sleepy and went to bed though it was 5 pm, yet. When I woke up, it was 10 pm. Then, I began to watch the movie, “Spirited Away” on my computer. Before I knew it, I was in the dreaming world.
